■ About the Forum

To better support the national Belt and Road Initiative and promote allround cooperation in science, technology and humanities, Nanjing University and the Cheng Ge Ru Foundation have jointly established the Nanjing University Southeast Asia Kerry Science and Education Exchange Fund. A special track for the ChinaSoutheast Asia Kerry Youth Scientist Forum is designated to support collaboration between Nanjing University and the ASEAN Youth Scientist Network Alliance, organize thematic seminars, and advance substantive research cooperation.

The China–Southeast Asia: Industrial Trade, Green Development and Common Prosperity in a Changing Global Landscape is a key thematic seminar under the Forum, hosted by the Business School of Nanjing University. It aims to build a highlevel exchange platform for young economists and management scholars in industrial innovation, common prosperity, policy and institutional innovation, peopletopeople connectivity, and case studies, so as to contribute international academic insights and policy solutions.

This topic discusses how 5G, cross-border e-commerce, and digital talent mobility drive industrial transformation. It explores digital trade rules, cross-border data flow, and synergies between the digital economies of China and Southeast Asia.

5. Collaborative Innovation in China-Malaysia Semiconductor Industry and Global Supply Chain Stability

This topic addresses complementary cooperation in semiconductors, focusing on joint R&D, talent training, and the “China R&D + Malaysia Manufacturing” model. It aims to enhance supply chain stability and reduce low-end lock-in in the regional semiconductor sector.

6. Economic Uncertainty in Southeast Asia amid Global Volatility and Macroeconomic Policy Responses

This topic analyzes the impacts of global fluctuations on ASEAN-5 growth, investment, and income distribution. It studies macroeconomic coordination and policy tools to support stable and balanced development in Southeast Asia.

7. Mutual Learning of China-Malaysia Poverty Reduction Experiences and Pathways to Inclusive Green Growth
